Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper - Accounting firm
Redhill, Surrey
£24,000 to £30,000
Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a reputable and well-established firm of chartered accountants based in Central Redhill, that as a result of growth, are eager to recruit an AAT qualified or late stage studying Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join their small but highly successful team.
Role Requirements -
Supporting a portfolio of Owner Managed Businesses, sole-traders, and partnerships across a diverse range of industry sectors.
Daily general bookkeeping for clients using cloud accounting software such as XERO, Quickbooks, and Sage50
Assisting with the influx of work generated by Making Tax Digital (MTD) for income tax purposes.
Producing quarterly VAT returns for clients and submitting these to the HMRC
Supporting with the draft preparation of year-end accounts as required using IRIS software.
Person Requirements -
Ideally AAT qualified or studying at Level 4 with solid experience of working for a locally based firm of accountants in a similar accounts assistant/bookkeeper/trainee accountant level role where you have gained a broad range of experience.
Proficient in the use of cloud software such as XERO, Quickbooks, and Sage 50 and ideally accustomed to IRIS.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
