Accounts Assistant
Wolverhampton
£26,000 - £30,000
Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a progressive, dynamic, and rapidly growing internet-based accountancy firm, serving clients across the UK and internationally. With a strong focus on property tax, there is a growing demand for our sought-after online accountancy services and customised property tax planning and business solutions..
Role Requirements -
* Serve a diverse range of business entities including sole -traders, landlords
* Prepare tax returns for a wide range of clients.
* Prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, landlords, and high-net-worth individuals.
* Assist with VAT returns.
* Produce schedules of income and expenses.
* Handle new client inquiries and liaise directly with clients.
* Perform tax computations.
* Undertake ad-hoc duties, including tax planning.
* Support business development efforts.
Person Requirements -
* 1+ years of accounting experience (preferred).
* Previous experience as an ex-HMRC Revenue officer or AAT qualifications are a plus.
* Strong knowledge of accounting, cloud software, and Excel.
* Excellent client-facing skills and ability to handle inquiries.
