The Company Overview:
We are working with a forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Sheffield, known for providing excellent support and guidance to clients across various industries. The firm values a collaborative and progressive working environment and is now looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join their dynamic team.
Your New Role as Accounts Semi Senior:
As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will support the preparation of financial accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enhance their skills and gain exposure to a variety of industries while working in a supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping.
* Supporting clients with management accounts and resolving queries.
* Assisting with audits as required.
* Liaising with clients to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will be working towards or recently qualified in their AAT qualification or studying towards ACCA/ACA. Prior experience within an accountancy practice is essential. Strong IT and accounting software skills, alongside excellent attention to detail and communication skills, are also key.
