Trainee Accountant
Wolverhampton
£21,000 - £24,000
Butler Rose Public Practice is thrilled to support our client, a highly regarded and well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Wolverhampton, in their search for a Trainee Accountant to join their growing team.
Role Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements under FRS102-1A and FRS105 for a diverse range of clients, including LTD companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
* Prepare corporation tax computations (CT600) and submit them to HMRC.
* Prepare quarterly VAT returns for clients.
* Produce management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.
* Provide support on audit assignments as required by the partners.
Candidate Requirements:
* At least 1 year of experience within practice, performing a range of accounting duties.
* AAT qualified, or in the later stages of studying for AAT/ACCA.
* Experience with accounting software packages, ideally including IRIS, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
