The firm is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join its growing team and play a key role in providing high-quality financial support to its diverse client portfolio.
Your New Role as Accounts Assistant:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of accounts, supporting senior team members, and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained. Main Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the preparation of financial accounts and statements.
* Maintaining and reconciling ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Supporting with VAT returns and tax computations.
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide financial information.
* Supporting the team with ad hoc administrative and financial tasks.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or working towards a qualification, with experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential.
