We are working with a highly regarded accountancy practice based in Leeds, recognised for its outstanding client service and tailored financial solutions. This reputable firm has a collaborative and supportive work culture and is now looking for a Senior Accountant to join its growing team.
Your New Role as Senior Accountant:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, and delivering sound financial advice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with clients and further develop your technical expertise.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements for a variety of clients.
* Managing a portfolio of clients, providing tailored advice and support.
* Reviewing and finalising accounts prepared by junior team members.
* Handling client queries and providing proactive financial guidance.
* Assisting in the training and mentoring of junior staff.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified (or part-qualified with relevant experience) and have a background in an accountancy practice. Strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a client-focused approach are essential.
