Purchase Ledger Clerk - Newton Abbot
£25,000 - £30,000 DOE
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a strengthening finance team in Newton Abbot. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, ensuring accurate financial processing across a large ledger.
In this role, you will process purchase ledger invoices, manage electronic supplier payments in, and reconcile month-end accounts payable. You will also maintain accurate supplier records, complete key supplier statement reconciliations, and prepare accruals, prepayments, and journals as required.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in accounts payable with a strong knowledge of multi-currency transactions, and proficiency in account reconciliations and financial reporting. Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is highly desirable. This would suit an AAT 3 level candidate.
