Butler Rose is delighted to be partnering with a prestigious Top 10 accountancy firm in their search for an Associate Director - Financial Accounting and Advisory Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm that is driving forward innovation and growth, delivering cutting-edge solutions to its middle-market clients.
The opportunity
In this role, you will be a key player in delivering high-level technical accounting, financial reporting, and business advisory services, working with a diverse client base. Your expertise will be essential in:
* Leading complex technical accounting projects, including FRS102, IFRS, and FRS101 applications, acquisition accounting, and GAAP conversions.
* Advising on group restructures, accounting considerations, and financial reporting matters.
* Supporting business growth through networking, proposal development, and industry-focused initiatives.
* Coaching and developing junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
What We're Looking For:
* ACA (or equivalent) qualification.
* Strong UK GAAP and IFRS expertise with a track record of providing technical accounting advice.
* Professional practice experience, ideally within an advisory or technical accounting team.
* Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
