Assistant Accountant
Permanent, full time
Up to £35,000
We're exclusively recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a well-established company located within commutable distance from Bridgwater, Taunton, Tiverton & Watchet. This is a full-time, office-based role to begin with the possibility for hybrid working once settled in the role.
Key Responsibilities in this Assistant Accountant role:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including various reconciliations and all aspects of Purchase Ledger
- Produce sales invoices & credit notes
- Assist with month-end duties including intercompany accounts
To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you will:
- Be AAT Level 3 qualified (or have equivalent experience).
- Have experience in either practice or industry-this is a great opportunity for someone moving from practice into industry.
- Be proficient in Excel and confident working autonomously.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with other departments
In exchange for this Assistant Accountant role you will receive:
- Salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience).
- Company pension scheme with salary sacrifice option.
- AAT study support
