We are working with a reputable accountancy practice based in Doncaster, well-regarded for providing tailored financial and accounting services to a diverse client base. This forward-thinking firm is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team, offering a supportive and dynamic workplace for aspiring finance professionals.
Your New Role as Accounts Assistant:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the delivery of accounting services to clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and further develop your career in a thriving accountancy practice.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Assisting with bookkeeping and VAT returns.
* Supporting the preparation of management accounts.
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide assistance.
* Assisting senior team members with ad hoc tasks as required.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or currently studying towards their AAT qualification. Previous experience in an accountancy practice is highly desirable, along with strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work.
