Butler Rose Public Practice Northern Division is delighted to be supporting our client, a, well respected firm of Chartered Accountants in the Stockport and surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth year on year, they are now recruiting an "Audit & Accounts Senior".
This is a reputable, growing and established accountancy practice with a history going back over 130 years.

Need to Know!
* Audit & Accounts Senior (30% Audit, 70% Accounts)
* Salary Negotiable dependent upon experience
* Located in the Stockport and surrounding areas
* 17-18% growth year on year with circa 80 staff currently
* All roles advertised are due to growth not replacement
Person Specification:
* As Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be ACCA or ACA qualified, with a minimum of five years' proven practice experience and be IT proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks. Experience of using CCH is preferable.
* You will be experienced in the preparation and review of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and will have knowledge of tax compliance issues.
* You will have proven experience of audit work, preparation of cashflow forecasts & business plans. Experience in the preparation of management accounts would also be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing management accounts and year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries
* Ensuring all assignments are completed within the allocated budget
* Working with the client to ensure deadlines are met
* Leading Audit assignments as and when required
* Drafting Corporation Tax computations and liaising with their tax department
Key Credentials
You'll be a team player with a passion for your profession and excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills. Likewise, the ability to impress and work well with their clients is key.
You should possess a good commercial mindset and ensure that you maximise the opportunity to sell the firm's full range of services.
Full clean driving licence is preferred but not essential.
