Trainee Accountant
Dudley
£21,000 - £24,000
Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to support our client, a highly reputable and well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Dudley, in their search for a Trainee Accountant to join their existing team.
Role Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements under FRS102-1A and FRS105 for a range of clients, including LTD companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
* Prepare corporation tax computations (CT600) and submit them to HMRC.
* Prepare quarterly VAT returns for clients.
* Provide management accounts reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
* Assist with audit-based assignments as required by the partners.
Candidate Requirements:
* At least 1 year of experience within practice performing a range of accounting duties.
* AAT qualified, or actively studying towards ACCA or other relevant qualifications.
* Experience with accounting software packages such as IRIS, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage is ideal.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with practice experience to further develop their skills across a broad range of accounting tasks while receiving support towards completing a recognised accountancy qualification.
