Semi Senior Accountant
Dudley
£25,000 - £35,000 + Study Support
Butler Rose Public Practice is excited to support our client, a well-established West Midlands-based accounting firm, in their search for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their team. They are seeking a motivated and talented individual to collaborate effectively with clients and contribute to delivering exceptional results.
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting owner-managed businesses with a range of financial tasks.
Role Responsibilities:
* Prepare accounts and financial statements in accordance with FRS102(a) and FRS105.
* Process client records efficiently and accurately.
* Produce management accounts.
* Complete and review VAT returns.
* Handle basic client queries and assist with general administrative duties.
Candidate Requirements:
* AAT qualified or currently studying ACCA.
* At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
* Detail-focused, organised, and highly accurate.
* Proficient in IT with knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH (preferred).
* Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and a great team player.
