Job description
I am working with an established and successful manufacturing business based in Ilminster who are looking to recruit a Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build stakeholder confidence by aligning financial and business planning processes.
* Contribute significantly to the definition and execution of the company's business strategy.
* Provide line management and leadership for the Finance team.
* Prepare timely monthly management accounts and submit quarterly consolidated financial accounts
* Prepare annual statutory accounts in conjunction with the auditors.
* Maintain, control, and optimise the ERP system to enhance financial and business processes.
* Develop and implement systems to aid in data collection and calculations, ensuring continuous improvement.
The successful candidate is likely to be fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), with excellent communication skills and previous experience gained in a finance leadership position within a Manufacturing environment. Exposure to foreign currency transactions will also prove useful.
