The Company Overview:
We are working with a well-established accountancy practice in Doncaster, renowned for delivering excellent client service and providing a supportive and collaborative environment for its employees. This reputable firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their dedicated team.
Your New Role as Senior Accountant:
As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing a range of accounting and advisory services. You will have the opportunity to work with SMEs, sole traders, and limited companies across a variety of industries, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements.
* Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
* Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing training where necessary.
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Assisting with tax computations and planning.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent) with experience working in a similar role within an accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential.
