Interim Management Accountant Job in Exeter
A fast-paced business in Exeter requires a proactive interim Management Accountant whilst they recruit on a permanent basis, for 3 to 6 months.
As part of their team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability of their ethical business initiatives.
Duties will include:
* Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements as well as providing the commentary
* Strategic Support: Assist in producing annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial plans
* Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to provide insights that drive informed decision-making
* Collaborative Impact: Partner with non-finance teams to develop and monitor financial KPIs that support our conservation goals
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and assist with preparing financial statements and audits
* Process Improvement: Continuously enhance financial processes, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a financial advisor to Managers and other stakeholders, providing clear guidance on transactions and operational decisions.
