Job description
Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a management accountant for an expanding business in the Exeter area. This is a permanent role and offers hybrid working.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, in this role you will work closely with both the finance team as well as non-finance departments in a friendly and collaborative environment.
Key duties will include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Responsibility for managing and reporting on companies within the group.
* Prepare monthly trial balance, profit & loss account, balance sheet, cashflow and variance analysis notes.
* Ensure companies work within framework of financial control procedures.
* Provide required financial data and analysis to inform decision making.
* Business partner with non-financial colleagues for budgeting and forecasting.
* Manage the fixed asset registers.
* Other financial duties as required by the business.
The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team. This role could equally suit someone already in industry looking to make a move or someone in practice seeking a move into industry.
