HR Manager
Location: Near Yeovil, Somerset
Salary: £40-£50000
Hours: Full-time, on-site
Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take the lead in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Manager to join a well-established business near Yeovil, playing a key role in driving the people agenda on site.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll manage the day-to-day HR function while supporting long-term business goals through effective people strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, high-performing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all on-site HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and policy implementation
* Undertake all aspects of Recruitment
* Provide expert guidance and support to line managers across the full employee lifecycle
* Monitoring attendance, sickness & general employee performance
* Lead HR initiatives focused on engagement, retention, and continuous improvement
* Support health and wellbeing programmes, learning & development, and succession planning
* Ensure HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation
* Preparation of weekly payrolls
* Maintain accurate HR records and reporting using the company's HR systems
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels
* Solution-focused, with a practical approach and a willingness to get stuck in
* CIPD Level 5 - CIPD Level 7 preferred
