Job description
Butler Rose is assisting a prestigious global accountancy brand in recruiting an Audit Reviewer in the Berkshire / West London region. This role is centred around visiting accountancy firms within a catchment area close to the successful applicant's home, significantly reducing travel demands and enhancing work-life balance. Meetings are scheduled several weeks in advance by a dedicated support team, allowing Audit Reviewers to maximise their time working directly with firms and carrying out Audit / Practice Assurance and regulatory visits without the strain of extensive travel.
Audit Reviewers enjoy a fantastic work-life balance, with the role designed to support a more manageable lifestyle. Based from home, this position is perfect for professionals at Manager, Senior Manager, or Associate Director level within accountancy firms who wish to move away from national travel and embrace a more localised area close to home. Unlike many roles at this level, this opportunity does not involve late evenings or weekend work, making it ideal for those who value both professional fulfilment and personal time.
This role will utilise your strategic consulting skills, people expertise, and significant technical knowledge. You will visit accountancy firms of varying sizes within a defined local area to review their procedures, processes, and controls, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Audit Reviewers provide constructive professional advice to help firms identify practical solutions to any issues, while acting as ambassadors for the organisation, offering assurance, managing concerns, and explaining services. For those interested, there are also opportunities to help develop quality assurance programmes for other international bodies.
The role offers a compelling salary with a car allowance. The comprehensive remuneration package includes a 9% pension scheme, private medical cover for the whole family, and additional benefits.
