Audit Associate
Wolverhampton
£25,000 - £32,000
Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting an accountancy firm on their rapid growth plan. They are currently looking for a talented Audit Associate to join the team. This is a great opportunity to join this rapidly growing firm and team.
Role Requirements -
* Gaining a comprehensive understanding of client systems and processes to help determine the testing approach.
* Conducting client and industry research to support the planning process, including risk identification.
* Completing assigned tasks promptly, covering all aspects of the balance sheet and profit & loss.
* Analysing financial statements for discrepancies and ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Collaborating with clients to gather relevant information required for audit procedures.
* Supporting senior staff with complex and high-risk areas.
* Reporting and providing advice on identified internal control issues and misstatements to management.
* Participating in and performing year-end stock counts.
Person Requirements -
* Has a rudimentary knowledge of accounting principles & Accounting basics (i.e Profit/loss & Balance Sheet)
* Is a strong communicator and very organised
* Holds a driving licence and has access to their own car
* Has at least 12 month experience in an Audit role within a practice industry
