We are working with a reputable accountancy practice based in Doncaster, known for its high-quality audit and advisory services. This well-established firm is committed to providing tailored solutions to a diverse client portfolio while fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace. They are now seeking an Audit Senior to join their growing team.
Your New Role as Audit Senior:
As an Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality audits from planning to completion. You will lead on-site audit teams, work closely with clients, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your technical expertise while working across a variety of industries.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and completion stages.
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Building strong relationships with clients and acting as their primary point of contact during the audit process.
* Preparing audit reports and presenting findings to management and clients.
* Ensuring audit assignments are delivered on time and within budget.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in audit gained within a practice environment. Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Experience supervising and supporting junior staff is highly desirable.
