Practice Bookeepeer
Wolverhampton
Up to £25000 pa (pro rata)
Butler Rose is delighted to be assisting a growing practice who are currently wanting to hire a Bookkeeper within Oractice. This is an excellent opportunity for you to working part time for a firm specialising in providing accountancy and taxation services to Small and Medium sized Businesses.
You will be working in a busy and growing practice where you will have the opportunity to work as part of our professional team with a family business culture offering organisational flexibility to fit you into our chartered accountancy practice.
This role will require you to work 3 days a week!
Responsibilities -
* Assisting with daily bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients
* Processing and categorising of invoices/receipts/expenses using cloud-based systems
* Performing key control account reconciliations including monthly bank reconciliations
* Assisting in preparing financial reports and documents to assist clients in the management of their numbers and business
* Preparation and filing of VAT returns
* Onboarding of clients and set up chart of accounts
* Communicating with clients regarding financial matters, to support them to make informed decisions
Key Skills -
* 3+ years of experience essential
* Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero and Sage accounting software
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information
