Bookkeeper
Wolverhampton
£25,000 to £35,000
Butler Rose Public Practice is pleased to be supporting our client, a reputable Wolverhampton-based accounting firm, which is looking to add a qualified and experienced bookkeeper to their team.
Role Requirements -
* Working in a professional accountancy practice environment, you will have proven experience of supporting a diverse client portfolio with a range of accounting requirements as well as being highly proficient in the use of cloud-based software such as XERO, Quickbooks and Sage.
* Daily bookkeeping - bank reconciliations, sales and purchase invoice processing using XERO, Sage and Quickbooks
* Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns using CCH
* End to end payroll administration for clients of varying frequencies using Ernie (IRIS payroll software)
* Basic year end accounts production using CCH where required
* Liaising with clients to obtain data and on their behalf with the HMRC
Person Requirements -
* AAT or QBE bookkeeper with at least 4+ years' experience working within accountancy practice
* Strong IT skills and knowledge of cloud accounting systems in particular Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
