Tax Senior

Salary £35,000 - £40,000
Butler Rose are working with a respected and established firm of chartered accountants to recruit a Tax Senior for their Ely office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional with strong compliance experience, particularly in personal tax and trusts, who is seeking a role that combines compliance and advisory responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities
* Preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns, including detailed capital gains computations and property income schedules.
* Completion of 60-day CGT returns and providing advisory services related to them.
* Managing tax cycles to meet deadlines and ensuring client compliance.
* Preparation of IHT100 forms for trusts and assistance with inheritance tax planning.
* Conducting Statutory Residence Test reviews and managing tax returns for non-resident individuals.
* Providing tax planning advice on inheritance tax, trusts, and property transactions.
* Supporting partners on complex matters, including reorganisations and acquisitions.
* Managing your portfolio of clients while fostering strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities for services.
Personal Requirements
* ATT qualified or qualified by experience, with an interest in pursuing CTA qualifications.
* Demonstrated technical knowledge of trusts and personal tax compliance.
* Strong communication skills to explain technical matters clearly and effectively.
* Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
