Job description
Butler Rose are working with a leading non for profit organisation based in Warrington to recruit a Management Accountant to join the finance team.
This role is perfect for a candidate who is looking to make the step up into a Management Accountant role after completing AAT, as full training and study support for CIMA will be provided.
Remuneration:
* Salary - £38,000
* Full time - 35 hours
* Study support for CIMA qualification
* Matched pension contribution up to 10%
* 28 days annual leave, rising with each year's service
* Hybrid working (2 days per week in the office)
* Salary sacrifice car scheme
Duties include:
* Ensure the completion of periodic accounting tasks and reconciliations including Accruals and Prepayments
* Full analysis and production of the Management accounts and financial management information on a periodic basis
* Meet regularly with Budget Holders providing financial information, discuss/challenge any variance against budget figures
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Prepare and manage the annual Budget Setting process
* Preparation of annual accounts
* Control and monitor the asset and property stock register
* Prepare rent, service charge and other invoices for third party customers
* Liaise with other finance and operational staff to prepare periodic cash flow forecasts
* Assist in the audits working with both internal and External Auditors, providing user friendly information in a timely manner
Candidate requirements:
* AAT Qualified
* Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role
