Accounts Semi Senior

Butler Rose's client, a well-regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Cambridge, is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client base and to further develop your career within a supportive, professional environment.
Role Requirements
* Support a varied client portfolio, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, across different industries.
* Prepare Year-End financial statements in line with FRS102-1A and FRS105 standards.
* Conduct computations for corporation tax returns (CT600) and submit them to HMRC.
* Prepare and submit personal tax returns (SA100) for self-employed individuals and high-net-worth clients.
* Produce quarterly VAT returns and submit them to HMRC.
* Utilise cloud-based software to support clients' accounting needs.
Personal Requirements
* Ideally AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA, with 2-4 years of experience in a small practice.
* Practical experience in accounts preparation, VAT returns, and potentially personal tax work, with any audit exposure being a bonus.
* Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with both clients and internal team members.
* A track record indicating a commitment to longer-term roles.
