The Company Overview:
We are working with a highly regarded accountancy practice based in Sheffield, known for delivering expert tax advisory and compliance services. They are now looking to recruit a Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Your New Role as Tax Accountant:
As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse range of clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical expertise and contribute to the growth of the tax department.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns for a variety of clients.
* Assisting with personal tax compliance, including the preparation of self-assessment tax returns.
* Providing tax advisory services to clients on a range of issues, including tax planning and structuring.
* Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients and resolving queries as needed.
* Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will be ACCA, ACA, or ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent), with prior experience in a tax-focused role within an accountancy practice. A strong technical understanding of tax compliance and advisory, combined with excellent communication and client management skills, is essential.
