They are now looking for a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.
Your New Role as Senior Accountant:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality accounting and compliance services. You will work closely with clients, supervising junior team members and ensuring all deadlines are met. This role is an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise and build strong client relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns for clients.
* Supervising and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and support in their development.
* Liaising with clients on a regular basis to provide advice and resolve queries.
* Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
* Identifying opportunities for additional services and supporting the growth of the firm.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent) with experience in a practice environment. Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing workloads are essential. Experience in supervising junior staff is highly desirable.
